It’s Strength, Core, Endurance, Cardio, Flexibility and Balance All In One Session. This Full Body Workout Is Done With The Assistance and Resistance Of Weighted Springs, Thus Requiring Constant Engagement Of The Core For The Whole Class.

Muscles are worked to fatigue, forcing them to grow while increasing your rate of fat and calorie burning (up to 700 per session). Many clients comment on how they are working muscles they feel they have never worked before.

All muscle groups, from big to small, are strengthened in a non-aggressive, non-impact manner making this workout as good for your muscles as it is for your joints. Your spine stays protected, your mind engaged, and your body pushed to its limits. Many of the exercises are exclusive to our machine and workout.

Developed in LA by celebrity Pilates instructor Sebastien Lagree, it is the optimal workout for quickly achieving a sleek, defined physique. PPD was the first studio to teach this method outside of LA. We are still the only studio in Ireland with our exclusive machines and system. The classes combine challenging moves on the studios customised Pilates machine The Proformer with tried & tested ‘old school’ exercises including push-ups, squats & lunges. The combination of strengthening and lengthening exercises develops long, lean muscles, and changes your body composition (the muscle to fat ratio). The workout also improves and corrects postural alignment. The fitness system is the most innovative and aggressive approach to full body conditioning. Results may vary from person to person.

 

Mash Up Classes

Our innovative Mash Up classes are done half on the Proformer and half on the floor. The Proformer part is our traditional Proformer exercises and the floor exercises can combine HIIT, Plyometrics, Yoga, Pilates and more. There are up to 12 people in the class.

 

Private Sessions

We have instructed clients with Parkinsons, MS, Osteoporosis, post back surgery, post knee surgery (including knee Arthroplasty), post hip replacement (hip Arthroplasty), and Auto-Immune issues amongst other injuries/illnesses/medical conditions. We offer one to one sessions which many clients who are worried about coming to a group class find highly beneficial.
